If you are not a member of the Gainesville Area Bee Club, here’s your chance to join and get free stuff!  Now through December 2014, all NEW club members will receive a beginning beekeepers packet of information and a chance to win the woodenware for a basic bee hive (top, bottom board, hive body, super and frames!).  The membership is for 2015, your membership months in 2014 are a bonus.

Memberships are $12 for individuals or $18 for families (2 or more members of the same household).  Family memberships will receive two raffle tickets for the hive, no matter how many people are part of the membership.  Complete the attached New Membership App 2015 and bring it and your payment to the club meeting in Oct., Nov., or Dec. or mail it to the address on the form by the end of December to be entered in the raffle, which will be held at the January meeting.

Benefits of membership include regular educational opportunities from the many interesting speakers who visit club meetings, eligibility to participate in the Bee Buddy program if you need help with your hives, access to a honey extractor to help with your honey harvest, eligibility to win a scholarship to UF’s Bee College, notifications of bee management news, and discounts on bee-related group purchases.  All for less than $20/year!
