Education and Outreach

The Gainesville Area Bee Club is a social club and provides educational outreach programs and participates in community events throughout the year. The GABC meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in room 1031 of the University of Florida Entomology Building (Steinmetz Hall), 1881 Natural Area Drive. Meetings are free and open for anyone to attend. You can find us on Facebook at "Gainesville Area Beekeepers" as well.

Honey Bee Health

Members of the Gainesville Area Bee Club strive to keep healthy bees. Bee health and best-practices in beekeeping are discussed at monthly meetings. See our "Links and Resources" page for more bee-related information.
